What's the deference between Developer Lots and Resale Lots?

When a Developer takes a raw area of land and creates a housing tract, the bare lots are called Developer Lots because you purchase them from the company that created them.

When you purchase a Developer Lot, you are the first owner of the individual lot.

Resale Lots are lots sold after the first owner of the lot.

You can say that when you buy a Developer lot you are buying the land at wholesale prices, when you sell them it's at retail prices. That's why, when we have new developer lots they are in great demand.
